The Bissman Building's involvement with the production of The Shawshank Redemption grew to be something we never thought it would have been. From producing "period-style" billboards to making the beer bottles you see on set in the still below, the family had a major involvement with producers and set designers. The Bissman Building was also the home of The Portland Daily Bugle and The Brewer Hotel.
